The Future Plan of Your Life (তোমার জীবনে ভবিষ্যৎ পরিকল্পনা) Or, The Profession You would Like to Take up in Your Life (পেশা হিসেবে তোমার জীবনের পছন্দনীয়)

Introduction: This world is like a sea to a young man. There are so many paths or courses open to him. He stumbles in his way of life. So every man should have a definite aim. A man without an aim is like a ship without a rudder. He cannot reach his goal. In his early life, he should choose what profession he is going to adopt in the future. But the choice of a profession is a very difficult task.

Different types of aims: Different people have different aims. Some of these are good and some are bad. Even then the same good paths may not be suitable for all. Some want to be doctors, some want to be engineers, and others to be teachers, journalists, and so on. People choose professions according to their tastes.

My aim: Like most people, I had an aim in life. Since my boyhood, it has been my cherished ambition to become a journalist. It is due to my father's influence that I have decided to take on this career. My father himself is a journalist in national electronic media.

Reason for choice: Now the present era is the era of media and information. It is the journalists who show the nation the real picture of everything. So much of the public interest depends on him. The journalist publishes the news of terrorism, corruption, nepotism, and crime. A journalist can help the nation a lot. Besides journalism is a profession of challenges and thrills. The challenges and thrills of this profession also charm me to take it up this profession. 

Preparation: I. am now a student of Dakhil. I shall try my best to cut a good figure in Dakhil and Alim examination. After my Alim examination, I shall take preparation for the admission test at Dhaka University. I shall get myself admitted into the department of journalism and complete BA honours and MA from there.

How to serve the nation: A think, an honest journalist can help the country a lot in many ways. He can rectify the government by showing his false shortcomings to the nation. He helps the police arrest criminals. So an honest journalist is an important person. I want to be an honest journalist and help the nation.

Conclusion: Right choice of aim is an important fact for success. I pray to Allah that I may lead this ideal life and serve my country and countrymen to the best of my ability. I must not forget that he who serves man serves God.
