On December 30, 2022, the fifth class primary scholarship examination was held in district-upazila-based examination centers across the country. Around 6 lakh students appeared in this exam. The duration of the exam was 2 hours.

Merit scholarships and general scholarships will be given to more than 82 thousand students in the 2022 class 5 primary scholarship examination. Out of this, 33,000 students will get talent pool scholarships and 49,500 students in general grades will get the general scholarships.

In the case of merit scholarship, 50% of the total scholarship will be given to male students and 50% to female students based on the number of students participating in the primary education final examination.

Talent pool scholarship recipients will get Rs 300 per month and a total of Rs 3600 per annum and general grade scholarship recipients will get Rs 225 per month and a total of Rs 2700 per annum.
